Aprilaire brand Dehumidifiers offer energy efficient dehumidification that goes way beyond what a portable dehumidifier is capable of. Available in 80 or 100 pint models. (They do also produce a 70 or 130 pint option too which we do not typically carry)

Benefits over a Portable

Aprilaire's whole home dehumidifier is an investment compared to a portable model, but the differences are great.

• Higher Capacity: Aprilaire dehumidifiers have a higher capacity than portable models, and are designed in a way that it will get near the rated efficiencies in most conditions, unlike portable models which are designed to test well, but usually will not deliver near the rating in real world conditions.
• Efficiency: Compared to portable models, the Aprilaire whole home dehumidifier line delivers typically 2-3x the output for only 30% more power. The E80 model has Energy Star Certification for whole home dehumidifiers.
• Long Lasting: How many portable dehumidifiers have you went through over your time in your home? Portable models are throwaway, and are not servicable. Aprilaire is designed to last with high quality components, comes with 5 year warranty.
• Warranty: When purchased through our business, the Aprilaire dehumidifier will receive a 5 year parts warranty. If you run into any problems during those years you can bring it into our shop for repair at little or no charge. Aprilaire takes care of their customers, and they are local to Wisconsin!
