Company Response: Jim, we apologize miscommunication today, but it is important we clarify a few things as this is a public review. Regarding kicking your cat, the technician shooed away your cat in a way your wife told our manager was too hard, and for that we apologize. In regards to the repair, your furnace has a very large hole in the heat exchanger, which is to the point of it being a danger to run. We are not a company that operates on scaring customers into purchasing, but when a furnace has heat exchanger cracks to the size in your furnace it should not be operated for safety reasons. The heat exchanger would have had to been ordered and you would have had a while to cancel it. If you want to go ahead with a repair and cancel it we wouldn't force you to pay for it. I feel it's best that we refund your check back to you for todays visit, and you can use that to have another company out. We are sorry it ended up this way, we do not want to upset or hurt anyone or anything. We wish you the best! -DC
