Company Response: This review does not adequately affect this visit. The customer was happy with this visit. When we go to a location and found a potential TXV issue, we don't just go right into replacing. So many times our industry diagnoses problems as TXV related when it is something else.
Our technician looked closely and took several readings. The bulb was not insulated, and he attempted to isolate the sensing bulb. The technician was not able to repeat the issue while there.
Because of that we did not want to push a customer into an expensive repair. From what it sounds like he contacted us after hours because it was happening again. Our technician gave him conflicting advice, and he reached out to our service manager who failed to return an email to him in a timely manner, resulting in this review.
We reached out to the customer and made everything right. Customer is satisfied with what we did and all is well.
