Do you offer financing?

We offer quite a few financing options through EnerBank for new installations. If your product contains certain equipment we offer better options as the manufacturer pays the difference for you to offer it. As time goes on these financing options can change, so it is always best to take a look at our current financing page. That page is up to date with our current offerings. Occasionally the manufacturer will offer special financing deals or promos that we can extend to you.

What payment methods do you support?

We accept the usual methods like Cash or Check as well as the four big credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. There is no additional fees for paying by credit card. If you are paying by cash please note that our technicians do not carry change. Any overpayment unless stated will be considered a tip for our technician. Our technicians have the ability to process cards while at your home through our ServiceDesk® software. We do not store payment information at all for any reason at our company. The information is processed directly with our processor.

Can I pay online?

You can pay online. Ideally we like payment at the time of service, but if you had to leave or the door was open and we did our work you can pay online 24/7 at our website. We have a special payment url https://pay.goodguyswi.com. Payments are processed securely, and our systems do not save credit card information.

Do you bill out jobs?

We require payment upon completion for our jobs. If you are a landlord and have rentals and you are not there at the time we ask that you make a payment arrangement with the office within 3 days. You can also pay your bill online 24/7 at our https://pay.goodguyswi.com website.

For long time customers this can be a shock, since we used to bill out everything back in the day. This change had to be made. Our office runs on a very lean crew of people, and the process of billing and collections is a full time job if we continued operating how we did. Our industry has seen ridiculous price increases year after year for the equipment we purchase, and it's more important than ever to run as efficient as possible to keep costs low for you.

Do you offer payment plans?

We do not usually offer payment plans. On occasion we will for customers, as we know unexpected repairs can hit at the worst times. It is very important to talk to your technician and ask them BEFORE the repair is made. Let us know what your proposal for payment is and they can run it by the office. We made a decision if this is something we can do, and agree to the schedule. If the schedule is not followed then we will start the collections process. Communication is very important to us. If you are not following through or communicating with us, we will assume that you are not going to pay.

What is a finance charge?

We utilize accounting software that will automatically add finance charges to balances that are older than 30 days. You will see on the statements sent out, they are labeled with "FC". All open balances have finance charges at 24% (2% compounded monthly), unless done in error, the finance charges are expected to be paid. If you have questions on this please reach out to us, we will be happy to go through this. If we made any errors we will be sure to get that fixed.

I have questions on my statement, who should I talk to?

We would recommend giving our office a call. Let us know you have a question on the statement. We have a few people in our office who can assist you with getting this fixed. If you have questions about service work that was done or any billing related to service it would be recommend to call and talk to Jeff Schmidt who is our Service Manager.
