The cold weather has caused a large increase in emergency calls. Our team continues to do their best every day to get to as many as we can as fast as we can. Annual tune-ups are important! Many of the calls we had were on equipment that has not been serviced adequately for issues that could have been most likely prevented.

Company Response: Carol I understand your frustration but I can assure you of two things:
- This model of furnace having issues is new to us. It has had a great history of reliability and we have been installing these for years.
- We already have involved multiple people at York. Our team is working together with them to get this issue solved as soon as possible for you.

York has a history of making reliable equipment. Sure there are some problems here and there, but I can assure you this is an industry problem, no manufacturer is perfect. We have literally thousands of York products installed around the valley. We work with them because they are fair priced and have people who want to fix and make everything better.

We worked hard on an agreement with York to offer an extended warranty beyond 10 years for all customers with affected equipment back in the day. This is something no other contractor has done with York (they made that very clear to us), and the extended warranty is offered at great expense to our company to keep our customers happy, and ultimately because it was the right thing to do.

As the person who processes warranty for this furnace, I can assure you that every year we have had less and less repairs on these. The issues are getting resolved and they do still sell this exact same furnace. We've even offered special pricing for your furnace tune-ups so we can stay on top of it easier.

In regards to the Ecobee thermostat, if you'd like to get a great deal on one, check out Wisconsin Focus on Energy's marketplace. You can get one for $80 (if you qualify for the $50 instant rebate). We can come back and just charge labor to install it if you wish at any time.
